After the birth of my son, I wanted to challenge myself.” On her lifestyle routine in terms of diet & exercise she goes to add “Luckily I am self-employed, so the stress of work depends on me. I do some modelling too, but people are always nice in that industry. I follow a more Mediterranean diet because of my culture, and it works to keep me healthy.”

Find a time that works for you, either in the morning or afternoon, evening, and just stick with it no matter what. Don’t make excuses” She further adds “I try to stay away from synthetic products.”
She says on her journey as a fitness model/ bikini competitor “I actually just started training to be a bikini competitor since May/June. I played tennis the majority of my life. My role model has always been my mother because she is the strongest woman I know.”
When asked why she loves, She enthusiastically said “Wow! Because it is just for women!”
Women Fitness Team thanks her for the valuable time she gave for the interview.

Be Heart Less

Be Heart Less: Have you ever thought about not having a heart? What if you had the option to be heart-less? Imagine this, you would just not have to feel any pain, sadness, hurt, anger, worry…But also you would not know joy, love, care and much more. What if you just had to use your brain? Balance everything in your life rationally. No feelings, emotions, just like a machine; true or false, zero or one, a good achievement or an error. Everything would seem very rational and reasonable, according to your own mathematics. No heartaches, no crying, no disappointments…Life would have never been easier, right?
However, practically if there was really such a choice, you wouldn’t be alive. All your body functions just depend on the heart. No heart, no life. I believe this is such a great symbolic hint from God that shows us the importance of emotions in our life. Without a heart, you might think it would have been much easier, but it’s really impossible. We would just turn into robots, everyone just doing all those calculations inside their heads, every step made is mentally pre-balanced and well-planned, no matter how it will affect others or anything around you, because you would not have the ability to worry or care and others would not feel anything in return too.
I think the heart is such a priceless gift from God to us humans. To know happiness, you must feel sad at times to appreciate it. Sometimes we MUST take risks in life in order to be happy; jump off the bridge, act foolish, attempt the impossible and you will be surprised. Everything should not just be balanced according to the brain. It’s okay, or rather useful, to feel sad, hurt, angry sometimes…It’s part of the whole life package. Maybe it will just feel fine not to have a heart, but in return you will never know the taste of happiness, love, care, appreciation, encouragement, support…
Wrapping up, I would like to end it with one of my favorite quotes that says it all:”Most people would rather be certain they’re miserable, than risk being happy. Robert Anthony”

Octavia Spencer Montgomery Native Wins Golden Globe

Octavia Spencer Montgomery Native Wins Golden Globe: Actress Octavia Spencer, star of “The Help” and a native of Montgomery, won the Golden Globe Award on Sunday for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture.

She won for her moving role as Minny Jackson, an outspoken, proud, but troubled domestic in 1960s Jackson, Miss.

Spencer won the same award Thursday at the Critics’ Choice Association.

“With regard to domestics in this country, now and then, I think Dr. (Martin Luther) King said it best: ‘All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance,’ and I thank you for recognizing that in our film,” she said.

Wearing a lavender chiffon gown, Spencer said she was overwhelmed by the win. Continue Reading…

Golden Globes 2012 Red Carpet

Golden Globes 2012 Red Carpet: Last year she was in the tricky position of trying to look chic and elegant while heavily pregnant.

But this year actress Natalie Portman made her red carpet return minus the baby bump.

The 30-year-old new mother was at the Golden Globes tonight wearing a hot pink strapless dress that closely resembled the one Marilyn Monroe wore in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, when singing Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend. Continue Reading…

Giants Vs Packers Score

Giants Vs Packers Score: Giants vs Packers score: Eli Manning 37 yard TD to Hakeem Nicks ends half time

Eli Manning drilled in a 37 yard touchdown to Hakeem Nicks to distance the Giants against the Packers 20-10 in the first half of the NFC Divisional Playoff game. Manning already completed 14 of 24 passes for 274 yards to exploit the defense of the Packers. He threw two touchdowns to Nicks as the Giants continue to dominate the top ranked Packers.

Nicks already caught five times for a whooping 152 yards that included the 66-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter and the 37-yard at the end of the second quarter. Nicks has been extricating himself from the Packers defense that couldn’t keep up with the surprise offensive package of the Giants. Victor Cruz also caught three catches for 46 yards as the Giants have the edge in the passing game.

On the other hand, the Packers offense has been stagnant though it can explode anytime with Aaron Rodgers as the anchor. Rodgers completed 12 of 21 passes for 117 yards with only a touchdown. He is being harassed and pressured by the Giants defense that he struggled most of the time. The passing game of the Packers is being tamed by the Giants defense that it couldn’t be the same like the way people expected it to be. Continue Reading…

Spring 2011 Couture Hair and Makeup Trends

Spring 2011 Couture Hair and Makeup Trends: At the spring 2011 Paris Haute Couture Week, innovation was the key. New twists on old favorites took makeup from dated to fierce. Winged-tip eyeliner was a favorite amongst Chanel, Jean Paul Gaultier and Yumi Katsura. To keep the look from looking too retro, makeup artists created an intense cat eye by blending the shadow towards the temples. At Chanel, makeup artists etched thick diagonal stripes up instead of out of the models’ eyes. Bold lips were also a favorite amongst designers this season, pouts ranged in hues of tangerine, blood red, and purple. Valentino kept things rosey this season, painting models in hues of pink for both cheeks and eyes, and finished the look with a nude glossy lip. A new spin on the smoky eye was also featured during Paris Couture Week. At Basil Soda, models strutted the runway with an ethereal smoky eye, created with shades of smoky blues and purples. Stephan Rolland kept things sexier with heavily lined black kohl eyes, adding silver shimmer to the inner corners for dimension.
